    Departure and driving by the ocean front thru the new City of Veracruz. Admiring the beautiful beaches and the old houses across the ocean, following the road thru the small fishing town of Boca Del Río (famous by its sea food) , there we will cross a bridge to take the highway thru the Town of Alvarado (the biggest fishing town in Veracruz well known for its Tuna catching fleet) .

    Arriving to Tlacotalpan. Next to the Papaloapan river this beautiful town with French influence was the largest river town in southeast Mexico, where European ships arrive in a weekly basis bringing goods and taking food from Veracruz as banana, sugar, oranges, limes, etc.

    We will walk thru the town admiring the beautiful painted houses with its porches and wooden rocking chairs along the sidewalks , declared as a Humanity Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO, this little town has an excellent museum that we will visit and you could see the beautiful architecture.

    We will back to Veracruz, stopping at the small village of Mandinga ( a lagoon fishing town ) , where you will have a light lunch with sandwich, fresh fruits from the region as mango, bananas, watermelon, papaya, oranges, pineapple and soft drinks, after lunch, we will board the river boats to take a ride thru the mangroves of Mandinga´s Lagoon to look for beautiful birds of all kinds, passing thru the channels of the beautiful residential areas and going back to the main lagoon to see the island of the birds.
